A quick trip to Vegas

 When you live in Vegas there are several times a year that you do not want to be there.  NFR.  Nascar.  & EDC.  This weekend was one of those times.  MDH had a gig, and you know I will never turn down a chance to go check on my house and get my hair done.  I was long over due. 

We stopped at the park by the house and had a picnic lunch...

And stopped at Star Nursery to kill some time.  I think when we move back I would rather work here than for some dumb show...

I love the metal cactus yard art, but they were way too pricey...

We passed by the Marrakesh where we had our first date...

Saturday while MDH was working I hit a few thrift stores.  They wanted too much for these sheets so I left them behind...

My yard looks like crap...

I stopped by to visit with my friend PAL.  His wife says she still has her FPLP at her parents house...

 

We stayed at the Excalibur...

Sunday, we hung out at the pool at PAL's house and had lunch.  KAL made a really yummy salad dressing, so now we have a new recipe. 

We were ready to go home...
